Peyton & Clover Harris
Peyton & Clover Harris served as overseas Christian ministers in Istanbul, Turkey (2011-2016) and Almaty, Kazakhstan (1996-2011). Peyton is an alumnus of VCU (BA Religious Studies) and of Regent University (Mdiv). They have three adult children, two wonderful children-in-law, and three beautiful grandchildren.
Ernie & Linda Campe
After 24 years in business, Ernie was able to fulfill a life-long dream of attending seminary. He enrolled in Regent University where he received an MA in Biblical Studies and later went on to receive his doctorate in Religious Studies.
Shortly after graduation he was offered a position of teaching young Christians in a four year Bible college – the very thing he wanted to do. The only caveat was it was 5,000 miles from Richmond! Within a few months he and Linda were living in Slovakia and traveling throughout Eastern Europe where Ernie was the primary instructor in the Bible College program with Ministry to Educate and Equip.
After four years on the field, both Linda and Ernie felt the Lord leading them to return to the States. Several compelling reasons concerning immediate family members led to this decision. Upon returning the Board asked Ernie to take over responsibility of the ministry and Ernie became president of MTEE, a position he held for 20 years.
After stepping down as president but remaining on the Board of Directors Ernie was asked by Peyton Harris to join him in pastoring the congregation at “The River.” Ernie now serves as associate pastor.
